NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Xiaomi is all set to add another smartphone to its Redmi Note 10 series.
Recently, the company launched the Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max smartphones in India. Now, the company is gearing up for the launch of the Redmi Note 10s smartphone in the country.
As per tipster, Mukul Sharma, the smartphone has received BIS certification. This means that the company is soon expected to launch the handset in the Indian market.
For those unaware, Xiaomi has already launched the same handset in China. It is expected that the company will bring the same variant to India as well.
Redmi Note 10s specifications
Redmi Note 10s comes with a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. The display is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla glass.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G-95 processor paired with 8GB RAM. The device packs 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 512 GB by adding a microSD card.
Redmi Note 10s runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI 12. The dual SIM smartphone comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone sports a quad-rear camera setup with a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensors. The front is home to a 13MP selfie shooter.
Redmi Note 10s houses a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The smartphone also comes with an IP53 rating which makes the device splash-resistant. Like all the other Xiaomi smartphones this one also comes with an IR blaster.
