Although OnePlus excels at crafting excellent affordable flagships, the company’s products lack in the camera department. With the exception of the OnePlus 8 Pro, it’s a field that the company sorely needs to bolster.

Earlier this year, OnePlus’ Pete Lau revealed a new commitment to this effort, stating that OnePlus aims to top the smartphone camera charts in 2021. Now, it seems that the firm has taken its first big step to achieving this goal.

Android Authority readers were initially skeptical that OnePlus could beat the likes of Apple, Huawei, Google, and Samsung in terms of camera performance as early as this year. But how has the new Hasselblad partnership news changed your opinion? Do you think the Swedish firm will solidify OnePlus’ efforts?
