Nothing Ear 1

Upstart audio company Nothing is just days away from launching its first product. The firm will be launching its Ear 1 true wireless earbuds on July 27, and we already know about pricing and some features.

We do wonder whether Android Authority readers care about the company and its products though. So that’s the topic of our featured poll today. Do let us know via the poll below, and leave a comment if you have more to say.

On the one hand, the company was founded by former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei. OnePlus delivered a unique proposition with the OnePlus One, arguably popularizing the affordable flagship segment. So we can totally see people expecting similarly big moves from Nothing. The firm also secured the Essential brand late last year, adding more coals to the hype train.

On the other hand, Nothing’s first product is a pair of true wireless earbuds and it’s a massively flooded market right now. There are hints of a transparent design, but is that really enough to stand out from the pack? The company has also been gleefully building hype since its inception, but has it gone overboard? Give us your thoughts on where you stand with Nothing.
