A new range of Nokia smart TVs is scheduled to launch in India on October 6th. The product page has gone live on Flipkart, which is the exclusive retail partner for Nokia TVs in India. The page reveals some key highlights of the upcoming Nokia smart TVs, which will join the existing 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch models. The new range of Nokia smart TVs is tipped to come with a bezel-less display and new sound technology with dynamic amplification, 150 percent more clarity, and 6D sound support. The company hasn’t revealed much about the upcoming smart TVs, but as per a report by XDA Developers, the new Nokia TV lineup will comprise as many as six models.

The six new Nokia smart TV models will come in different screen sizes and up to UHD resolution. The top-end UHD/4K smart TVs are said to come in 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch sizes. The TVs are expected to bear 3840 x 2160 resolution and HDR 10 support. “Flipkart/Nokia will be calling the display technology as ‘MaxBrite Display’ with micro-dimming and Pronto Focal AI Engine, as well as a 5000:1 contrast ratio,” added the report. The maximum brightness would be 350 nits on the 43-inch model, 380 nits on the 50-inch, 420 nits on the 55-inch, and 450 nits on the 65-inch model. Additionally, these Nokia smart TVs will leverage the Onkyo soundbar, featuring 30W speakers and 18W tweeters for audio.

The HD and FHD Nokia smart TVs will reportedly feature 32-inch and 43-inch screens, respectively. The smart TVs are also said to feature “MaxBite Display” with micro-dimming and Pronto Focal AI Engine, although the contrast ratio is at 3000:1 and the maximum brightness would be at 325 nits on both. The maximum resolution on the 43-inch FHD model would be 1,920 x 1,080, while that on the HD model would be 1,366 x 768. For sound support, the TVs are expected to feature an Onkyo soundbar with 24W speakers and 15W tweeters.

The upcoming Nokia smart TVs are likely to be powered by Android. The new Nokia smart TV series prices are tipped to start from Rs 21,999. That’s all the information we have at the moment. We will know everything about the Nokia TV models on October 6th.
