The graph of new COVID cases in Mumbai sharply dipped on Monday with 2662 cases being recorded. Reacting to a detailed post about the cases in Mumbai by Times of India, Varun Dhawan wrote, “Let’s keep this going. Have to try and find some positives. This has been a tough day with too many cases too close to home.”

Doing his bit amid the pandemic, Varun has partnered with an organization to import oxygen concentrators and donate them to various hospitals across the country. In a social media post, Vaun had revealed that he has joined forces with a group of 30 individuals and managed to raise over 21 crore for the procurement of 3900 oxygen concentrators in under a week. The 34-year-old actor also shared pictures of the first shipment that had arrived in India and was ready to be provided to 14 hospitals.

Before the second wave of the pandemic hit India, Varun managed to wrap up the shoot of his next film. He was stationed in Arunachal Pradesh with Kriti Sanon and the team of ‘Bhediya’.
