Apple TV+ is here with an unveiling of another original Tiny World and the trailer is as good as it gets. Popular American actor Paul Rudd invites one into the world of the tiniest creatures on the planet and more. The Friends star who has also executive produced the docuseries voices the coming together of worlds and how. A viewer is even introduced to the smallest monkey in the world, the pygmy marmoset and it’s really a speck in the spectrum of things in line.

The official synopsis says that series “showcases nature’s lesser-known tiny heroes” and how! “Spotlighting small creatures and the extraordinary things they do to survive, each episode is filled with surprising stories and spectacular cinematography.” And the more you see the trailer, the more realise the ride it is going to be. As Rudd mentions, there is a whole world beneath our feet and it’s high time to know nature’s tiniest heroes and their stories of survival.

The promo also serves as a unique perspective into the natural world and resilience of some of the planet’s smallest creatures, especially in the land of giants. The series claims to cover over 200 species in a 12-part series. It has been filmed over a decade and shot in ecosystems around the world. From the savannas in African to gardens in one’s backyard, the show is poised to reveal never-before-seen moments. Tiny World is produced by Plimsoll Productions, and written and executive produced by Tom Hugh-Jones. Apart from Rudd and Hugh-Jones, Dr. Martha Holmes and Grant Mansfield also serve as executive producers on behalf of Plimsoll Productions.

The first six episodes of the 12-part series will premiere globally on Apple TV+ exclusively on October 2, 2020. And the second half will follow in 2021.
