Stranger Things will soon have another season 80s sci-fi goodness. With three successful seasons of Eleven and the whole party including Mike, Will, Lucas, Dustin and Max fighting the monster, the hit Netflix show has fans looking forward to going back to Hawkins. The series has managed to take the excitement a notch up with every season and while we wait for the fourth instalment, the question is, where’s the show headed now? Well, we might not have much in the way to a plot, but we do know there are some appearances in order courtesy, the Duffer brothers.

In a recent interview with Deadline, Matt and Ross Duffer have revealed that Stranger Things Season 4 will have some guests worth looking forward to. The show has had its fair share of guest appearances including Cary Elwes from The Princess Bride in Season 3. So will we see more cast additions in the upcoming episodes? According to the brothers, “We have a couple of cool ones this year. It’s a really fun way to one of your icons. You know, write a part for them and see if they want to do it.” The showrunners haven’t revealed who these guests will be as of now. But we all know what fans really want to see in the next chapter of the show.

Season 3 ended with a huge cliffhanger, something that has fans speculating for months. Then a teaser dropped a while ago and it revealed a look at Jim Hopper alive. The convenient return of Hopper begs the question, how the hell did he survive an explosion? His fate has sparked all kinds of theories. And these theories only got crazier after this teaser dropped (read: including one that suggests the Hopper you see in the snow-clad Russian facility is a clone!). The teaser was only completed with the Demogorgon sounds in the end.

Stranger Things Season 4’s production was halted in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic and there are no new updates on a definitive date of resuming shooting schedules or a release date.
