In the ongoing investigation of the pornography case linked to Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra, Mumbai’s Crime Branch has found a hidden cupboard. Reportedly, the cupboard was discovered during the search process conducted at Kundra‘s Viaan and JL Stream office in the Andheri region.

A tweet by
ANI read, “Crime Branch has found a hidden cupboard in actor Shilpa Shetty’s husband & businessman Raj Kundra’s Viaan and JL Stream office in Mumbai’s Andheri during searches in connection with a pornography case: Mumbai Police”.

Earlier, officials probing the case had also raided the couple’s Juhu residence too. Speculations were rife that Shilpa had issued a statement to the crime branch officials during the questioning that had taken place following the raid.

There was also hearsay that Shilpa had denied her husband Raj Kundra’s involvement in the case. Right now, a source close to the actor has put out a quote that states, “There have been a lot of rumours, murmurs and accusations. A lot has been said in the media as well. However, Shilpa Shetty Kundra would like to refrain from commenting about the ongoing investigation. Would like to request everyone to refrain from commenting on half baked information without verifying the veracity of the same.”

According to a report by Times Now Digital, a source close to Mumbai police informed that Shilpa refuted her connection to Kundra’s Hotshots app and also stated that erotica is different from porn.

Meanwhile, Kundra also filed a petition in Bombay High Court after his bail plea was rejected. He claimed that his name was not mentioned in the original FIR and that his arrest is “illegal”. He is currently in Byculla Jail in Mumbai and has been booked under sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292, and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) besides relevant sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act. The investigations are still in process.
