B-Town stars are in celebration mode and the winners of the National Awards were announced yesterday evening. Kangana Ranaut doubled up her birthday celebrations with her National Award win to Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans being a tribute as his film ‘Chhichhore’ bagged the Best Hindi film award, we have all the top headlines of the day. In our latest segment, Bolly Buzz, we bring you all the juicy gossips and news which grabbed everyone’s attention from the world of entertainment.

Kangana Ranaut turned a year older recently. The actress is not just celebrating her birthday but also her 4th National Award win. The ‘Queen’ actress won the Best Actress National Film Award for her roles in ‘Manikarnika’ and ‘Panga’. The star even dropped the trailer of ‘Thalaivi’ and fans have been pouring in praise on social media for her powerful performance.

Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Chhichhore’ won the Best Hindi film award. After the winners’ list was announced, everyone from the cast, crew, fans and friends joined in to spread good cheer. They also remembered the late Sushant Singh Rajput, who played a lead role.

Nani starrer ‘Jersey’ also won the National award. This film is currently being remade in Hindi with Shahid Kapoor in the lead. Sasha congratulated the team and said, “Huge congratulations to the entire team. Thanks for the extra pressure.”

Recently, Kartik Aaryan tested positive for COVID-19. Kiara and Tabu too are also going for the test or may have already got it done. Tabu was in fact shooting with Kartik, which prompted her and the team to also get tested. Speaking to our bees, director Anees Bazmee seemed rather “surprised” as he said, ”We followed strict covid guidelines, the entire unit including actors and technicians were tested every night before going on set the next day. We are all getting tested and will know only tomorrow if any other member of the crew has also got infected.”

Shanaya Kapoor is gearing up for her big Bollywood debut. There’s a buzz that she will work on a love-triangle film. We hear that she will star alongside Gurfateh Pirzada and Lakshya of ‘Dostana 2’. The film is on the same lines of ‘Dostana’ and it will be shot abroad. It will goes on floors this July and will be helmed by debutant director Paras.
