I’m sure you’ve noticed how the second wave of the Coronavirus pandemic crippled our lives yet again. Not only has it forced another lockdown and stricter curfew on us, the rate at which it is taking people hostage is alarming! No wonder, India breached one lakh daily COVID-19 cases recently since the first time since the beginning of the pandemic. And not just us commoners, even top Bollywood celebrities have been infected including Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif and more which has resulted in the halt of shoots.
Even the filming of Mr. Lele starring Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar has been put on hold just a few days after it went on the floors because both the actors are under home quarantine after testing positive for the novel virus. While Kaushal shared that “In spite of all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested COVID-19 positive” and is now taking medication as prescribed by his doctor, Pednekar revealed that “Steam, Vit – C, Food and a Happy Mood are my go-to.” The actress has even urged that “Please don’t take the current situation lightly, even though I followed utmost precaution and care I’ve contracted it. Wear a mask, keep washing your hands, maintain social distancing and be mindful of your general behaviour.”
In fact, the Durgamati star has recently shared a health update with her 6.2 million followers and honestly, it us our cue to mask the hell up! While sharing her experience battling COVID-19, Pednekar issued a fair warning- “You don’t want to get sick.”
“Am so overwhelmed by all the love that’s being poured in…thank you for keeping me in your prayers. Sorry I haven’t had a chance to reply back to your message’s, calls or dm’s. I’ve spent yesterday sleeping and recovering. Just want to say, stay home and step out if it’s really necessary. Follow protocol. Trust me this is a lot harder than you can imagine,” she also added.
You heard her! So, now sit you privileged ass home if you have the luxury of doing so and be extra responsible one behalf of those who have to step out to earn their bread and butter.
